Space is not empty. It is a packing of cells that pass movement along. Light is that pass, happening so fast we call it a speed. Stuff is a lasting dent in the packing. When one dent blocks the inflow that would have reached another, that is a force. Nothing pulls. The universe pushes. A loop of least resistance through that push is an orbit.
You are sitting in the microwave glow of the sky. That glow is the packing at work, still arriving. Climb from here and you hit a jam in the infrared. Colour sits behind the jam. Hard gamma is where through-going light stops. The other way is radio, then still. If the bath goes all the way cold, the push we call gravity shuts off and seated stuff spreads. The dump reloads the packing until far-away light cannot move. Then the jam opens. We meet infrared coming down. We sit in the microwave again. There is no first moment and no last one.

In ordinary English
Space is not empty. It is a packing of contacting cells — spations — that hand movement to their neighbours, one cell per tick. The tick is so short that light is just the handoff rate: c.
Matter is not a guest in that packing. It is a lasting dent — a knot of circulating movement that excludes a volume of cells. Force is what happens when one dent blocks the inflow that would otherwise reach another. Nothing pulls. The universe pushes, and a closed path of least resistance through that push is an orbit.
One speed. No first moment. No last one either.
The life of the universe, in one climb
You are sitting in the microwave. The sky’s blackbody peaks at 1.063 mm, 2.7255 K. That is the CMB: not an afterglow of a bang, the operating pressure of the lattice, still arriving.
Shapiro delay is how we know the pressure has a gradient. Light taking the long way past the Sun is late because it ran slower, not because space was extra-long. The Sun is baryons excluding Planck-length spheres, shell by shell. The map of that well takes the solar surface as through-going speed zero and Earth orbit as the match to c — the rung we occupy.
Temperature, pressure, and that far-frame speed are one ladder. Climb it from here: infrared is this cycle’s radiation wall (975 nm on the FIRAS ratio; the Standard Model puts last scattering in the same band). Visible colour sits behind that wall — solid, impenetrable as a through-going signal. Ultraviolet is further behind. Hard gamma is where through-going light stops: far-frame speed → 0.
The other way is radio, then a wave the size of the whole stack — static. Heat death is that direction taken all the way: bath toward 0 K, pressure gone, gravity (the push) shut off, seated matter no longer held, matter expands, structure breaks.
The dump reloads the lattice and climbs until far-frame light cannot move. Then the wall depins. We meet the infrared coming down. We sit in the microwave. The bang is that happening again. When the door opens is not yet a derived time. The chain is not a story we chose.

Six laws, one force

The lattice cell is Planck length — the one ruler. Light-speed, Boltzmann’s constant, and elementary charge are unit bridges. Action and the two masses are one seat. α is hydrogen’s rung on the same ladder as the Sun. The CMB temperature is a clock reading of the bath now. Numbers the engine looks up in laws.hpp are that lookup.
Gravity without G
Koppa is a length: how deep a well is, from a speed and a radius. One law runs from Earth about the Sun to hydrogen. GM = c²ϟ is a conversion, not a foundation. The same depth is the clock, the stretch of a spectral line, and the slowness Shapiro integrates. Earth’s c is a rung. The ceiling is about 105 m/s faster — the galaxy’s floor, not a lab-to-lab shift.
Atoms and nuclei, in one breath
Hydrogen is a centre — the proton — not a packed seat. Helium-4 is the α centre. Seats are deuterons and tritons around that α, from lithium onward. The Lamb shift is measured, not derived from a neighbour. Every nucleus with Z ≥ 2 is one α plus a count of deuterons and tritons. Fission flays the jacket; it does not split a drop.
What the ledger already refused
Tired light — excluded; octaves do not compound like fog. A cubic-redshift distance law against supernovae — excluded. H₀ from the pressure tensor as a closed derivation — retracted. Galaxy rotation as a finished native shape — open; an earlier success was a mock.
The infrared wall, the microwave we sit in, and the gamma stop are computed from the T–P–c identities. The date of the next fire is pending.
